I mean it is quite rare that someone makes me feel ashamed for this country, because I don't generally give that much of a fuck about it, but ...
Ok. I'll try to be calm, give you proper arguments.
The place - the place reminded an old cinema in a rural town, where you get the impression that USSR never actually went away. A pretty small hall, an old stage with a crappy lightning, that mostly blinded the audience.
Sound... well, it was ok. Until the microphone suddenly stopped working. And then again. And fucking again. And then another one. And then, at the end of a show one of the speakers just died, so the sound was coming from one side of a stage.
What else? Audience... yeah. THOSE MOTHERFUCKERS... sorry. Well, there were some empty seats, mostly at the back, where the tickets were cheaper.
Yeah...
I mean, when you come to the show, where Irish comedian is going to speak english...
Perhaps you should learn...

I feel ashamed.
I wanted to apologize to him for them. I mean... you do the job, you prepare a lot of jokes specially for those people... And what do you get in return? A bunch of clueless idiots for the audience for two hours.
Poor Dylan asked one of the girls in the front row to occasionally translate "difficult" words to russian for him, so he could insert them in his jokes so that these fuckers could understand it.

And the show itself was great. Dylan was hilarious, he prepared hell of a lot of stuff about russia, got only two or three jokes from his previous acts (and he changed them all a lot). It is rare that you see a modern observational comedian who is still very funny each time. I mean... I have seen a lot of them, an they tend to run out of material. He doesn't. And that's cool.
And he still is so charismatic)

Ебаки, думали поди, что это концерт леди гаги и без знания англа все будет понятно. Или что сабы сверху будут на экране выводить, как в опере.
Впрочем, кажется в Москве, хоть в целом публика была хорошей, в балконе сидела какая-то пьяная тетка, которая все время что-то орала Морану. Такой стыд. Я боюсь, у него осталось не лучшее впечатление о России.
А насчет места, где было шоу, не знаю как в Питере, но в Новосибе и театры и ДКЖ остались с советских времене, так что СССР НИКУДА НЕ УЙДЕТ ЕЩЕ ДОЛГО!
